Your Practice

Our aim is to help and support every patient to achieve and maintain the health and appearance of their whole mouth.

When you walk through the door of our practice, we want you to be as relaxed as possible. So, first of all, you should notice that we smile a lot (please ask us why not if we aren’t!). Many people comment on the friendliness of our staff. We work hard to be both approachable and efficient providing our service to you.

Once you’ve seen us smiling, you should notice us listening to you – whether it’s about the time you need your appointment or whether it’s about a particular problem which needs sorting out today, or whether it’s which toothbrush to buy.

And you should notice the practice is clean – inspections and assessments by external bodies such as the British Dental Association, Denplan and the local PCT show that we have all the correct protocols in place to provide treatment in a safe, sterile surgery environment.

And that the magazines are up to date …..

We could tell you more, but at the moment, just remember that all we do is aimed at helping you keep your mouth healthy so that there’s nothing to mend and nothing to worry about – but when things do go wrong, we can sort that, too!

3. We aim to make your treatment as comfortable and convenient as possible

4. We look after your general health and safety while receiving dental care

5. We follow the British Dental Association’s guidelines on infection control

6. We check for mouth cancer and tell you what we find

7. We take part in continuing professional development to keep our skills and knowledge up-to-date

8. We train all staff in practice-wide work systems and review training plans once a year

9. We welcome feedback and deal promptly with any complaints

10. Every member of the practice is aware of the need to work safely under General Dental Council guidelines

And your commitments to us ..

We simply ask of you that you should

  • Do what we ask you to do to maintain your oral health at home
  • Keep your appointments (or give us at least 48 notice of cancellation)
  • Be polite and considerate to our staff – we will not tolerate abuse of any kind
  • Pay your account when requested.
